4 Chairs Provide New Ligature-resistant Seating for Mental Health Facilities

Each Enclosed Chair is ligature-resistant. The chairs are designed with a Betula plywood frame applied with an anti-microbial finish. Each chair also features an upholstered seat and back cushion with hundreds of fabric choices.

The Enclosed Upholstered Chair is also offered with an armchair option. The Enclosed Upholstered Arm Chair is also ligature-resistant. Its side panels can potentially help increase safety for any patients who may need additional side support.

Enclosed Upholstered Bariatric Side Chair & Arm Chair
Blockhouse also announced a bariatric model of its enclosed chair. The Enclosed Upholstered Bariatric Side Chair features a ligature-resistant design with a static weight capacity of 650lbs.
The enclosed Bariatric Chair is also offered with an armchair option. The Enclosed Upholstered Bariatric Arm Chair includes the same features, weight capacity and ligature-resistant capabilities of the side chair.
The dimensions of both Enclosed Upholstered Bariatric Chairs: 30.5” Wide X 27” Deep x 32.5” High. The seat height is 20”. The arm height of the armchair is 25.5”.
